The mission of CC United Soccer Club is to foster, promote, and perpetuate the game of soccer for youth in the communities of Carver, Chanhassen, Chaska, Victoria and surrounding communities.

We’re thrilled you are interested in our program, and would love to have you join our growing pool of qualified, professional referees. We have a variety of referees from all ages, levels, and abilities and welcome any those are interested in the program.

To get acquainted with what it takes to become a referee for CC United, please browse through the following information:

If you are interested in becoming a referee, you will need to complete the following before you can be assigned to games. 

1.    Become a certified referee with the MNSRC.

**The following information is for new officials: 

a.    This takes 8-10 hours of  online courses

b.    There is a mandatory 8 hour classroom training

**If you are a returning referee, your requirements will vary depending on how long you have been a referee. Please check your SRC account to find out what you need to do to re-certify for the upcoming season. 

2.    Register with

CC United uses as its referee assignment and payment tool.  All assignments will go through for all Competitive and Recreational games. Referees enter availability as well as accept or decline games online. 

3.    Register as an official on the CC United website

If you are a current or former CC United player, you will not need to create a new account.  You can sign in and register with your existing email address and password.

4.    Complete an MYSA Background check ***Only if you are 18 years of age and older

MYSA requires that background checks be conducted on anyone 18 or older once per soccer year (Sept. 1 - Aug. 31).  If you are 18 years old for any part of the soccer year, a background check is required.  MYSA specifies the company used and the background checks required.  If you are an adult who will only referee (not coach) for the club, please make sure to follow the instructions for adult referees at the link below.

5.    All Referees MUST complete the Concussion Training

Submit a certificate of completion via email to  .  Games will not be assigned to those who have not completed Concussion Training. You only need to do this once every three years.

The training takes approximately 45 minutes to complete and while the training can be paused; if you exit out of the training your progress will not be saved. Please save a copy of the certificate for your records in addition to forwarding a copy to CC United Soccer Club.


6. Complete a W9 form.

You must complete this and send it to   before I can release funds to you for games played.
