Gameofficials.net “To-Do” List
We are using gameofficials.net to:
In order to set you up properly to serve the above purposes, you must update the following information under Personal Preferences on the left-hand sidebar when you login:
Enter a cell phone number other referees can reach you at. Make sure you do not select private. If you select the ? icon alongside games, the list of officials name, email and phone number are displayed. This is very helpful if you are running late so you can contact the other officials.
Enter the dates and times you ARE NOT available. The system will assume all other days you are available. Even though most of your assignments will be self-assign, you still need to update availability in the case that I need to assign certain matches.
This is where you can tag on your account the following:
Game conflicts (i.e. your team, your sibling is on a certain team, your parent coaches the team, etc.)
I will NOT use location/schedule/team preferences at this time.
This is where you’ll manage your payments. You need to sign the agreement first, and then select your payment method. I would NOT recommend having a check sent to you. They do charge a fee per check sent. Please note your money will be put on hold if you do not have a W9 and a current concussion training certificate with the club.
We are using self-assign for both ESA and ESC. It is important to remember that the games you see will be relative to your experience, training, and ability. Your dedication to improving your skills will directly relate to the level and number of games available to you.
You can do a maximum of 4 games per day.
You are limited to 12 actions in a 24 hour period (i.e. you can only assign yourself to 12 games per day).
You will not be able to self-assign if the game date is within 5 days. This allows me enough time to seek coverage for games.
You can only assign 30 days out.
You are not required to center games. Self assign will allow you to choose the position you’d like.
If you do sign up for back to back games and would like to center, do not center both games. It is a courtesy rule that you alternate center/AR in double-headers. In the event that we don’t have enough centers, I will contact you and ask you to center both.
You do not have to sign up for travelling games, if you only want to ref recreational games that is fine.
You can click the calendar icon to add to your calendar directly.
