Y License Certification Course
CC United is offering a course to earn your Y License.
Coaches are trained through a program based on the US Soccer "E" license material. The goal being that at the completion of training, coaches will have the knowledge they need to spend the season developing and improving their coaching skill set and after a season of coaching will be ready to take and pass the "E" license. Coaches will receive feedback and evaluations on their progress during training and throughout the season from CC United Coaching Staff.
All Youth Coaches are able to take the CC United hosted Y license at no cost. Successful completion of the Y license will result in an increase in youth coach pay.
Other coaching education/licensure questions can be directed to Jonathan Tudor.
What are the dates of the training program?
All coaches, new and returning, are expected to take part in the coach training offered. See the link above for exact dates.
What days will I work?
There are a variety of schedules available. Most coaches will work one weekday (Monday-Thursday) and Saturday every week. Schedules are assigned based on availability, training attendance and coaching experience.
What equipment will I need?
A uniform (shirt) and equipment will be provided by CC United.
