Do I have to register my child prior to evaluations?

Yes, to participate in evaluations your child must be registered for the "COMPETITIVE LEAGUE - Summer 2018 TRYOUT" program. Click on the orange Register Now button to begin registration. To successfully register, the non-refundable Tryout/Team Placement Fee must be paid.

IMPORTANT: Even if your child will NOT attend the evaluation, you MUST register for your child to be placed on a Summer 2018 Competitive team!

When I register for Summer 2018 am I automatically registered for Fall 2017?

No. Registrations will be open for two different competitive leagues. The "COMPETITIVE LEAGUE - Fall 2017" registration is separate from the "COMPETITIVE LEAGUE - Summer 2018 TRYOUT" registration. If your child intends to play competitive soccer for our club this fall, you MUST register your child for the "COMPETITIVE LEAGUE - Fall 2017".

For which age group should I register my child?

Players should register for their birth year based on the MYSA Birthyear Chart.

I am a C2 or C3 Player and won’t be attending evaluations, when should I register?

All players wishing to participate in the Summer 2018 competitive season, regardless of playing level, need to register prior to July 30.  Completion of the registration identifies a player as an individual to be placed on a team.  Team placement will be based on the player evaluation provided by their coach. To provide team placement, a player must be registered.

If my child is only participating in the Fall competitive league should he/she participate in evaluations?

No, evaluations are for the Summer 2018 competitive season only.  If your child will only be playing during the Fall competitive season, do not attend tryouts and do not register for the Summer 2018 competitive season.

I did not play on a CC United team this past season, what evaluation should I attend?

Any player from outside of CC United should attend all C1 evaluations for their birth year to be evaluated for placement in the club.

When do the C2 and C3 evaluations take place?

The U12-U18 evaluation process does not offer sessions for C2 and C3 players. Sessions will be provided for U12-U18 Classic 1 and Premier levels only (these evaluations will be for both field players and goalkeepers). Current C2 and C3 players will be placed based on an evaluation by their Coach. Players from outside of CC United should attend C1 sessions for their birth year to be evaluated for placement in the club.

I am a current CC United C2 or C3 player and would like to attend the C1 evaluations, what do I need to do?

Any current CC United C2 or C3 player looking to make a C1 team will need an invitation to the evaluation from either their team coach, the Master Coach or the Director of Coaching.  Invitations will be based on their coach’s evaluation along with the player’s use of the club’s Open Door training.

What is CC United’s Open Door Training program?

CC United’s open door training program allows a CC United player to attend any other team’s training in which they are physically able to compete, provided they contact the coach prior to attending.  To utilize the Open Door training a player must:

  • Maintain current communication/commitment with their current coach
  • Email the coach of the team that they are aspiring to train with and receive approval to attend
  • Attend training
